How to Play

  1. Every player receives five cards. No-Bid and Daily turn one more card face up to set trump.
  2. In Auction, bid 15, 20, 25, or 30. A pass ends your bidding; if nobody bids, the dealer is forced at 15. The winner calls trump.
  3. The player left of the dealer leads in No-Bid. The winning bidder leads in Auction. Follow the led suit when you can. The ace of hearts always counts as trump.
  4. Trump beats other suits. The top trumps are the 5 of trump, jack of trump, ace of hearts, then ace of trump.
  5. Each trick scores 5 points. The owner of the best trump played earns 5 more. An Auction bidder who misses the contract is set by the bid amount.
  6. No-Bid ends at 45; Auction ends at 120. Three- and four-player cut-throat give every seat its own score. In four-player partners, alternating seats share trick points and the bidder's make-or-set result. The deal rotates after every five-trick hand.

Daily 45 gives everyone the same deal and one first completed attempt per UTC day. Daily records reset at the buzzgames cutoff, and everyone may enter for free. CPU games never affect ratings. Invite rooms support open seats, spectators, and quick phrases. Four-player cut-throat rooms are casual only; ranked play is limited to two-player Auction.
